A quick question and answer post, because for whatever reason it’s still not quite intuitive enough to know how to search by seller on eBay.
Why would you want to do this, you might ask?
One of the most common scenarios is when you see someone selling on another platform and want to check if they’re selling on eBay as well. The other use case comes when you have an idea of a seller’s name (perhaps you bought from them before) but you can’t find them in your purchase history, etc. for whatever reason.
So, we will go through how to search for a seller on eBay on both desktop and mobile.
How to Search for a Seller on eBay
To search for a seller on eBay, click “Advanced” to the right of the search bar. Then, click “By seller” under “Items” on the left. Last, enter the seller’s name and click “Search.”
1. Click “Advanced”

2. Click “By Seller”

3. Search Seller Name

Seller Search on Mobile
On the mobile app, click the magnifying glass search icon at the bottom of the screen. Then, typer out the seller’s name. Once you see “Search for a User” appear, click that option.
