1993 Upper Deck was a great set for Michael Jordan collectors. With 17 cards in the master set – plus one from the separate Holojams set – there was a lot to chase.

Of course, like all releases, not all cards are created equal. Which are the best and most valuable?
While holograms might not catch the eye of the collector as much these days, in 1993, they were all of the rage.
Thus, both the Holojams separate set insert and Triple Double 3-D Standouts insert are still atop the list for those nostalgia-chasers like me, with 90-day averages of $15.35 and $7.58, respectively (according to Market Movers).
After the holograms come the imagery and design, which the Michael Jordan 1993 Upper Deck Skylights is a hobby classic, averaging $4.20 sales price over the last 180 days. That said, the 1993 Upper Deck Locker Talk Jordan is nearly double that, with an average up toward $8.30.
As any traditional Jordan collector would tell you, inserts are cool, but it’s all about that base! Well, maybe not always, but 1993 Upper Deck base Jordan can stand on its own.
Over the last 30 days, this card has sold over 50 times on eBay, according to Market Movers, holding an average sales value of $3.34 over that time period.
You also can’t have 90s Jordan cards without some type of highlight reel.
Here is how the three NBA Finals Highlights compare to each other over the last 30 days….
And here is how the three Playoffs Highlights cards stack up:
Of the remaining Jordan inserts from 1993 Upper Deck, you have two Season Leaders Cards (scoring and steals).
Along with two All-NBA cards (including the checklist):
And finally, my two favorites (dunks!)—Signature Movers and Breakaway Threats.
All things considered, based on sales averages from the last 30 days, all 18 Michael Jordan Upper Deck cards from 1993 can be obtained in raw condition for less than $70!
