Panini Instant cards can be valuable, if of Victor Wembanyama, Lionel Messi, or from the UFC Kaboom! set. In fact, the most valuable Panini Instant cards sold in 2023 include a 2023 Victor Wembanyama Draft Night Versicolor /5 ($5,500) along with a handful of 2022 UFC Kaboom! cards: #13 Khamzat Chimaev PSA 10 ($2.03K), #20 Israel Adesanya ($1.53K), and #6 Connor McGregor PSA 10 ($1.5K).

Do you see a pattern?
If you want your Panini Instant cards to be worth more than $700, it might need to be a Kaboom! in very good graded condition (most here are PSA 9 or PSA 10; BGS 9.5, etc.) Either that or a generational talent per the likes of Victor Wembanyama.
That’s right, all 20 cards on this list are Kabooms or of the Spurs’ star rookie center.
In fact, this trend continues down the list until #36, a Lionel Messi 2022 Panini Instant World Cup #39 Base PSA 10 ($449), and then on for even more until another few Messi cards pop up at #60, #61, and #63.
Honestly, you don’t really start seeing much variety in the type of Instant card that is worth money until you start looking at cards that sold for around $150 and less. This is where football rated rookies like those of Jalen Hurts, Jordan Love, Joe Burrow, Justin Herbert, and others (all PSA 10s and PSA 9s, of course) start to show up. And, while there is still plenty of World Cup, there are others in addition to Messi, and while there are plenty of UFC cards, there are many that aren’t Kaboom! inserts.

The last important note is that in order for Panini Instant cards to really be valuable, they should be graded. Sure, there are a few “raw” cards in the lists above, but the vast majority of them are graded by PSA , SGC, and BGS.
