If you think there is no place in the hobby for new life and new love, this might not be the blog for you. What was once your grandfather’s favorite pastime (that was so lovingly shut away in his attic or basement) is now celebrated – unashamedly – by all walks of life.

I mean, if you would have told me that I would have publicly declared my love for cardboard on LinkedIn for coworkers and high school friends to see, I would have thought you were crazy.

Yet, here we are!

It’s for that reason that sports cards need to find their way out from under beds and into more conversation. There are people out there who have never seen a refractor; who don’t know the story behind the 1990 Fleer Billy Ripken. That’s criminal.

While some of football world might be tired of hearing about all of the “off the field,” this is the way we get more cards into the hands of people who might not have ever felt compelled to hold them.

So, Swifties, this is for you. And card collectors, take notes as well—my wife has never said anything positive about this hobby, and now she’s looking through the COMC catalog for cards I can talk about in this very post.

With her help, here are 10 Travis Kelce cards that make magical music with the songs of Taylor Swift.

1. 2020 Mosaic Red Prizm #4

Need I say anything more? As if the Chiefs’ red uni wasn’t perfect enough, seeing it kicked up with any red parallel like this one from Mosaic has Kelce “spinning round in my head.

2. 2013 Score (1989 Design)

That’s right, Kelce’s 2013 Score rookie is deserving of an entire album (Taylor’s best?). It also just so happens that this beauty of an RC features the iconic 1989 Score design. Makes you think.

3. 2018 Panini Classics Eras #11

Not gonna lie, this one had me grinding a little. There HAS to be a card that has Kelce in both his Cincinnati Bearcats (era) uniform and his KC Chiefs (era) uniform. I can’t find it. This is a cool replacement, though.

4. 2023 Panini Elite Spellbound “K“(arma)

Karma is a lot of things. And it starts with “K,” coincidentally.

5. 2019 Panini Prizm Fireworks

While Kelce probably wouldn’t appreciate being told to “drop everything now,” the sparking fireworks between these two has honestly been a highlight of this NFL season.

6. 2022 Mosaic Draft Picks #33

Never seen him perform it, but I’d bet everything to my name that Kelce is able to do a mean Carlton dance. This card of him “shaking off” defenders made me think so.

7. 2021 Panini Playbook Sparkle

So this is technically a “sparkle” parallel despite the snowy appearance, but if this card isn’t weird but beautiful, then I don’t know what is.

8. 2018 Elite Face to Face

The Chiefs-Broncos rivalry is one of the game’s best, and was a bit lopsided until Denver finally broke through and beat Kansas City in October of this season (and reigniting the bad blood).

9. 2021 Optic Stars Prizm #33

I could have done an entire blog post on Kelce “star” cards. For one of the best to ever play the game, there isn’t any shortage of options. Dude is made of starlight.

10. 2015 Topps Adrenaline Rush

To end, I’m not sure there is a better description for these two. Travis Kelce, if not known for being an all-time great, is known for his dance moves and fun-loving “joker” nature. Taylor the queen, obvi.
